A Virtual Celebration

Even if we can’t celebrate in person this year, we still hope that you will join us virtually for the 2021 Servant of Justice Awards and three additional special events that we will be debuting virtually for the first time this year.

We’re excited to announce that we will be broadcasting our events over Sophya, a unique platform that mimics the style and feel of a cocktail reception online. Sophya will allow our guests to have private conversations and move around the room to interact with fellows guest before beginning our official program. It will also help us recognize event sponsors with virtual billboards and signage on the screen. If you would like to check out the platform yourself, please email Rob Pergament at rpergament@legalaiddc.org.

We will also be hosting two smaller virtual events, the Legal Aid Ambassadors Reception on April 8 and the Meet the Honorees Reception on April 21, as a way to celebrate together. This will be another way for Legal Aid to honor our generous sponsors. All sponsorships include at least 10 registration links to the Servant of Justice Awards on April 29, as well as the two special events.

While we wish we could be celebrating in person again, we hope that this will be an exciting alternative that allows us all to remain safe and healthy! We will be sending out more information about our virtual events in the near future.
